Bad Influence (But that’s more due to Robert Cray than Clapton)

Clapton. He’s a master of the axe, yes? Why doesn’t he play it on this? I mean, sure, he does, but that’s not the focus. The focus is in having guest writers sit down and craft generic and uninteresting tracks to fill a contract. 
I guess. The Collins song sounds like a Collins song, for instance. Clapton’s guitar is electric on “Miss You” but all that shows me is that these songs are filler waiting for him to jump in an play. 
He’s anonymous on his own record. 

This isn’t for young Allen. Or Old Allen. Who is this for?
