Anyone know what “swamp music” is? Or “fish-Head music”?

That’s what the wiki entry says about this.
To me it sounds like an R&B band that plays songs influenced by Creedence. 

Songs like “Smokin’ Hole” probably play well bleeding out of a New Orleans bar on a Saturday Night and I bet you all the denizens either know it or pick up the chorus pretty quick. I could groove to it after a couple Hurricanes. 

The album itself is filled with boring songs that aren’t all that dynamic. So….

Just a solidly pedestrian series of songs by a band that somehow got a record deal. But it really sounds like it should be good. “Nothing’s Changed” is about as depressing a song about the mundanity of life that I would expect from today’s Zoomers. 

There’s nothing bad here but also nothing that would suggest that this was missing from my record collection. Brian Nichols writes perfectly good rock tunes but really needs a hug. Or therapy. He just seems…sad. Even though the bassist wrote “Restless” it just proves to me that people of a certain personality type gravitate to each other. “Sex” sounds like they listened to a LOT of Rezillos. But, still. Guys, if sex gets in the way of what you want to do…you’re doing it wrong.
