This is nothing like the last Ministry album. Is this the sound they would be known for? Is this the first commercial industrial album? I don’t remember hearing one that sounded like it belonged on a disco floor before. Maybe I’m wrong but I think this is a nexus point for that sound. You just know that these guys heard Big Black and were moved by that thing. 

Anyways, I’ll be honest, I got a bunch of work done while it was on. So, there’s that.

What they hell is Ministry? I really never listened because they presented themselves as sort of dark and goth and moody and I wasn’t really into any of that.
But, this is just shitty disco. Now, I like good disco. Chic, Donna Summer…when it fires, it’s four on the floor awesome.
This isn’t. This is just annoying.
Apple Music has this listed as “Metal”. No one is listening over at Apple Central. Just like me, they judged Ministry by the presentation. Fool us once, Ministry…
