Anyone know the band Death? They are legend. Apparently, they gave up whatever they were about and reformed as a seriously earnest Gospel Rock outfit and you can add it to that list that includes Leonard Bernstein’s Mass and Steven Schwartz’s Godspell and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. Just a weird addition to pre-Christian Christian Rock.
How the fuck has no one talked about this venture into the bizarre?
The playing is excellent. Jazzy. Rock. Fuzzy. But, dammit, the content is terrible.
