French Canadian Synth Pop!
From the start Trans-X seems to be laying down a challenge to Sparks and B-52s or at least saying they want to play, too. The opener is infectious and bubbly fun. And, unlike Sparks when they dove headfirst into synth rock club-dance music, Trans-X seems to want to dance to their own stuff. I imagine they had as much fun as Right Said Fred seemed to be having.
MECO wishes he could’ve made Sci-Fi Disco this much fun.
I couldn't stop with this one, had to listen to the additional tracks that were not on the original LP.
Thanks, Sheffield!
