Dance the Night Away
Super generic, uninspired, tired metal entry. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel. Doesn’t push the medium forward. However, you get a sense that they know the winds are changing as the title track tries to incorporate the heavier elements of modern metal. The rest of it is standard issue chukka-chukka/super-lead licks/high soaring vocals. For some reason they save most of their energy for the closer, “Dance the Night Away”, a song that wants so bad to be Judas Priest it can taste the Hellion.
Been here.
