Highlights:
Animals in Jungles
Like Eyeless in Gaza but with a hint of ska, a dollop of wanna-be blue eyed soul and a touch more bounce. The songs are all perfectly fine, but so were Men Without Hats’s. And Aha’s. And…..
I know “Wishful Thinking” was their hit but, truth be told, I think it’s a lesser entry here. It’s acceptably moody and reminds me of driving through New Jersey winters on my time home from college but that could be just about any mid tempo brit-pop synth music from the era.
