Highlights:
Far Away
After over 2000 reviews sometimes you just run out of words. If an album is a surprise or a revelation or affects me by recalling a moment in time, I can write something out easily.
If it’s a turgid disaster, well, we all know what those reviews look like.
But, when the album is a middling hard rock/prog rock thing that isn’t terrible nor is is really delicious…I struggle to put 30 words together in a new way that really reflects what that record is like.
Much like this review, which you read and have learned nothing, will quickly forget but can sort of appreciate that it’s out there.
