This is EXACTLY the venn diagram between those two projects and Paul Weller has nothing to do with it??
This is like Makin’ Time. A band incongruous with the era and yet, perfectly of it.
If a Quentin Tarantino type filmmaker existed years from now and was drawing on arcane but fantastic music from the 80s for reference instead of the 60s, no doubt, The Truth would find it’s way into his or her soundtracks.
The title track anticipates Oasis in a way that also calls to mind The Who.
