The 1985 Listening Post - Killdozer - Snake Boy

Killdozer - Snake Boy

#356/992
September 29 1985
Killdozer
Snake Boy
Genre: Punk
4 out of 5

Highlights:
River

“Holy Mackerel, Holy Cow! I wonder where that old river is now.” Killdozer sings on River and I swear it’s hilarious. If The Residents were a noise/punk/metal band they would sound like Killdozer.
If the Green Mountain Killer needed a soundtrack it would sound, musically, like Killdozer, but these guys have too much of a sense of humor to associate with real serial killers. Yet, at the same time, they aren’t frivolous. They’re menacing. Geez, listen to their cover of “Cinnamon Girl”! It’s the stuff of bataan death march nightmares.
