Here we go. The second generation of synth-pop, New Wave is in full effect in all it’s Kajagoogoo glory. Semi-interesting but devoid of invention, cloyingly desperate for time on the disco-dance floor with none of the groove sensibilities or sexuality. Blue-eyed Numan is bad Numan. Like Erasure and Soft Cell the high point is the synth-cover of a well known hit.
Much like those records this is harmless and belongs on the soundtrack to some 80s teen flicks.
