Oh, the children of Van Halen and Crue are really showing up now.
Wait! This lead singer is the same lead singer in Flogging Molly??? How can that be true? That can’t be true! Is that true?

This is a supergroup of sorts. A member of Humble Pie, one of Motorhead and the freaking lead singer/writer for Flogging Molly.
I’ve never cared much for either of those first two bands so in this case the whole is a LOT more than the sum of the parts.
The cover looks like some power rock album, maybe even New Wave but that’s just bad marketing. This album aspires to (and succeeds more than it doesn’t) in being a hybrid 60’s rock/70’s prog/80’s glam metal record.
It overstays it’s welcome about 2/3rd through, but I liked it a surprising amount more than I thought I would.

And it’s the lead singer from Flogging fucking Molly.
