We are in the world where classical music is merging with rock artists who had loftier ambitions, I guess. Like we saw with Philip Glass and will see with Freddie Mercury in a few years (I have to wonder if Pat Benatar ever tried it, wasn’t she trained in Opera?).
Jimmy Sommerville is trying his best to Moyet it all up and he’s not too bad. I like this more that I did Bronski Beat.
Put this in the same playlist as Marc Almond’s Marc & the Mambas.
