Somebody in this bunch would go on to create Flesh for Lulu and for that they should be given kudos. 

Instead, let’s applaud this fully formed adventure into the dark recesses of psychotic reactions and percussive psychedelia.

It’s remarkable to me that we talk about Joy Division and New Order and Bauhaus and all the other dark, dank, bands who wrote music to haunt your nightmares and Wasted Youth is unknown. I had not heard of them until this project. 

This album was almost revelatory to me. 

But, what do I know? Certainly not enough about this style of music. 

This one is spectacular. 

Was “I Wish I Was a Girl” a single? With it’s tribal rhythms and animal calls and haunting instrumentation…how was it not?
