Requisite 80s cover: Deep Purple’s “Teaser”. Motley Crue would cover this Deep Purple tune but I like this one just as much, tho the production is terrible.
Tommy (Deep Purple) Bolin’s younger brother, John, plays drums and so he started a band. Tommy only played with DP for a year but that was enough clout to help little bro get a record deal.
John would eventually team up with his brother, I guess. He’s been pounding the skins for a while out there.
I don’t know that the band wrote their own stuff, the credits don’t seem to imply that, but, for boogie rock, this occasionally slaps.
Remember how much I adored discovering Shooting Star? This reminds me of that.
