Nowhere near as interesting as their previous and, knowing where they are headed, tells me that this is a group in decline. At least, for me. It’s partially psychedelic and alternately retro-garage. All wrapped up in a bundle of post-rock musings and pretense.
It was a challenge to engage with this. I guess there’s a reason I never heard of them before this project.
