Any album that starts off “Hey, Little Girl!” Is going to raise my 2021 hackles. Add in that pornstache and you are already 2 steps behind. The fact that this opener is called “Backseat”…dude. Seriously. What are you going for here? Who said this was okay?
Tim’s been a music producer for the last 40 years and, from what I can gather, pretty successful. That’s excellent. This album isn’t.
There are songs. They are well done. There’s no single. Maybe maybe the last one, “Try Harder”, but it all sounds like warmed over Toto.
