Listen to those synths soaring over pulsating bass! This is the most Loverboy record Loverboy never recorded. It’s no surprise that the bassist here would join the aforementioned and be their bassist from 2001 on.
Chock Full of big Glam songs dressed up in big instrumentation, elevated vocals, this is the kind of sweet spot 80s Rock that might show up in a deep cut playlist of epic 80s rock you’ve never heard.
The big hits deserve to be on a playlist. The rest are fine filler. Kenny Shields has that hard rock androgyny that should have elevated him to the top echelon on 80s Hair Metal status.
