It’s not that Bonnie writes bad songs. They aren’t. But they aren’t really all that interesting, either. She’s bluesy and blows and her production is crisp and crackles, but, boy howdy, is it generic.
Her covers are bland and her originals don’t make me shimmy. Sorry, Bonnie.
