So…not everything Mutt Lange touches turns to gold, apparently.

There’s a lot of soft, almost yacht rock here that’s well produced but boring as hell.

You know that 70s “little girl” misogyny that tracks all over the era? That’s “Let It Down”, where the singer is telling the woman to let her hair down so it falls around him. Yo, Mark Kreider, you get the same effect from just about every member of your band. You’re unctuous. 

They show some sign of life at the end with “Come On Over” and “Call the Police” but, boy are they obnoxious.
