Requisite 80s Cover: “Pretty Woman”. They got there before Van Halen. They don’t do anything with it. It’s pretty faithful.
This throwback sounding garage rock album is from a previously punk band from Canada. It’s got energy and drive and that’s pretty much it. There’s not a lot of imagination here.
Until “Tattoo City” which is more Link Wray and Screamin’ Jay than the prior generic garage stuff.
This is genre stuff. If you have tats and slicked hair, wear white tanks and ripped nylons with gobs of makeup, this is the jam for you and your friends.
