“Hey! I have an idea!”

“What is it, Stan?”

“You know how Blondie is all the rage?”

“I wouldn’t say, ‘rage’, Stan.”

“Still. People love ‘em. Right?”

“I guess.”

“Well, the chick lead singer and her nerdy boyfriend are all tied up in some project with the guys from Chic.”

“Wish we had some of that.”

I know, Bob. But what if…?”

“Yeah?”

“What if we give the keyboardist a record deal? I mean, he’s gotta have some of that Blondie stink on him.”

And the only stink they got was this thing.

I need a vacation.

These songs are rudimentary and the poetry is sophomoric. It’s like Gary Numan and Roger Taylor got together, walked into a talent stripping machine and came out the other side and made a record.

If there are any good songs here they are mired in a sea of overproduction.
