Sorry for the cheeky genre.
Hard Rock Heaven’s blog used a term for this kind of rock that I’ve never included but have always sorta known: Pomp Rock. I usually default to Arena or Stadium but this isn’t really either of those, while it would work in an Arena I feel like it’s more Yes Meets Toto. And that would be great in an Arena but I think “Pomp” fits it a lot better.
To either the delight or dismay to members of the Listening Post this is a record that would be impossible to hear were it not for 21st century platforms. It was ONLY released at Break Point shows and they didn’t last very long.
It’s a pretty standard Pomp Rock record. Some fine tracks. Nothing that should or would ever crack the Top 100 without a stellar video. They didn’t have one of those, did they?
There are bonus tracks at the end of this but the album is the first 9 tracks.
