Highlights:
Five Miles of You
So, I've never really thought much of the mood-rock of Television or Tom Verlaine. It's just not my cuppatee.
That said, I think of him as the lesser acclaimed, lesser known, slightly more accomplished, slightly better version of Lou Reed.
And I'm proven right on Cover.
God damn, he's boring. Even when he shows signs of life ("Five Miles of You"...co-written with someone and "Emily", he's still such a precious dullard that I can't wait to move on.
