I have the good fortune of not relaly remembering much about the 1983 Hunters & Collectors release.
And then I heard this and it brings back absolutely no memories.
Did everyone get a record contract in the 80s?
This is nonsense. Just a bunch of guys jamming in a studio thinking they are making something amazing and really just jerking off with a lot of percussion.
It's not fun. It's not pretty. It seems to want to assault the audience but it can't even do that with a pointed aggression. It's angularly boring.
It takes almost the whole album til we get to "Hayley's Doorstep", which sounds like they tried to write a real song but the vocals are soooo freaking awful I wish they never tried.

Do I seem short?
