Is this the soundtrack to a lower east side rock opera? Feels like it. Where’s Tom Waits? Feels like he should just show up and take over a song or two.
I’m of the mind that a plane ride to Los Angeles in a winter storm is the wrong time to try to listen to this thing.
This is the nightmare of the mind and heart and soul that renders Roger Waters Hitchhiking antiseptic and hollow.
Was this ever done as a stage show? Cuz I think that’s what it is.
“Saint Huck” is the darkest imagining of Twain. And wholly appropriate.
