In the 1st 20 seconds the energy in this record is electric. But, while there is a promising mishmash of styles The Vandals prove that they are just another tryna-be-funny punk outfit that has neither the chops nor the humor to make much of an impact. I do quite like the bass work on “Viking Suit” which seems like the player would rather be in a different, better band.
