Nothings Monstered

How badly does Arto Lindsay wish he was David Byrne??
When I was in college we used to take outside classes in “Alexander Technique”.

I used to see movement performance art at St. Marks Church. It was nonsensical and deserves to remain I remembered.
“Trouble Maker” is the precise type of music that would accompany that. We’ve reached that point in the musical lexicography where musicians are not interested in songs (or audience really) and are just creating soundtracks to play in video stores and bars and galleries. This is that kind of entry. Although “Nothings monstered” could give Laurie Anderson and “Venus Lost Her Shirt” the Residents a run for their Avant money.
“Let’s Be Adult” is the closest to a song anyone might program in a club but, please, Dj’s, don’t.
The album peters out with ambient percussive rhythms only to return to the scene of the Byrne at the very end.
