Keep your Kraftwerk. Take your OMD. I’ll keep my Gary Numan, xex, Devo and, apparently, The Units. 
That’s really what you need to know going in. It’s frenetic, that’s for sure. The drumming on “Digital Stimulation” reminds me of some of the best of another 415 release from the following year, It’s a Condition’s “Myself to Myself” by Romeo Void. 
This is inspired robot-music with percussion unlike most of what’s attempted by these bands at that time.
In fact, I would say that Epoxies and Ima Robot owe more to The Units than any of the other founding bands of the era.
I think The Units never put out another full length record. Maybe its for the best. This is a particular statement that doesn’t need repeating, expanding or diminishing.
