Ugh. When a band that had only a few ideas completely run out of ideas what you are left with is this crap. This is Priest wannabe with terrible english as a second language lyrics. Now, that has proven to be a workable formula for the better offerings by Scorpions and, obviously, for Max Martin, but here it’s just annoying reasons to play guitar. Schenker isn’t as interesting as Malmsteen, I guess, so we are saddled with his “songs”.
But, weirdly, the only remotely “good” song on the first side is the instrumental track, “Captain Nemo” and is the only song credited solely to Schenker, the others being co-written by his lead singer, and various other members.
The rest is just as uninspired. Please skip this. You know you don’t want to hear it.
