Another one that should’ve been on my radar and I completely missed.
Dig that Groove could’ve fallen off the soundtrack to The Forbidden Zone. Who stole the sound from whom, Toy Dolls or The Kipper Kids?
More cheeky than the Dickies. If the Uncle Floyd Show decided to go the “Oi” punk route, it might’ve sounded like this. As it stands it fits in nicely in the pantheon of such cheeky wink and nod bands like The Aquabats.
For a record recorded in 3 days (and all the drum parts done during his lunch break from work) this is a fine and fun debut.
