Experimental Noise, Industrial self indulgence. Slightly more listenable than Swans but, in the end, I feel like a lot of these guys would do well to get involved in the BDSM community. Not as music supervisors or providers but as participants and just get their freak flag on. This is the stuff serial killers listen to in their basements.
For no reason that I can decipher after the 6 minute murder opus, “Gashing the Old Mae West”, the group transitions to light synth wave ala Kraftwerk with recorded spoken word in “Dead Eyes Opened” (But they can’t help themselves, as the buzzsaw sounds make their in towards the end)
This album makes little sense.
Although I quite enjoyed “Exploring the Secrets of Training Deaf Mutes”. Well, another word that means nothing like “enjoyed”.
