Look I give you credit for trying. This is mediocre, straight up MOR/AOR.
Without the charm of a Fee Waybill this comes across as tripe. The Tubes could have had so much more fun with “I’m Angry with You” and I think we would look at it like a companion to “Talk to Ya Later” but it just comes across mean.
