The first half of the happy dance party band that is Dislocation Dance is here. This time they feel a little more experimental than before and I don’t know who they are making this for? “Yops Course”? That feels like a exercise in using studio time.
I don’t know what DD is really about. They play in a lot of styles, like swing and new wave and pop and none of the songs stick.
Another album that calls to mind The Go! Team without the wit and expertise to deliver on a retro 70s theme when called for.
