I don’t know why this is listed as NWOBHM. It’s not. It’s boogie rock meets glam.
If it was marketed toward the former they would be disappointed. Market it to the latter and you are trying to sell this sound to people who have long since moved past it.
Which is too bad because it’s a treat. The lead licks are solid. The playing is glamtastic. The songs are as good as many rock bands have ever put out. And, in 2021 if they released this they would probably tour with Greta Van Fleet. I would have watched them open for GVF just so I could sing along to the goody “Sunday Drivers”.
