Welcome to the Wrecking Ball

Genre: Jefferson Kiss

2.75 out of 5

Lowlights:

Lines

Someone pissed in Grace’s Crunchy Flakes. She is mad, man. She’s angry as all hell and Wendy O. Williams is her spirit animal.

Grace is game here and her vaulting for the Joan Jett set is admirable but I don’t know that the songwriters are up to it. It comes across as a Jett album by session musicians. Or as on “Shot in the Dark” like 3rd rate Steinman or, actually, leftovers from the Rocky Horror recording sessions.

So much of this sounds like someone wanted to write a KISS record but wasn’t horny enough.
