Coming Home

Here’s the best I can come up, simile-wise: Turn Husker Du into a Jangle Pop College Radio band and that’s Moving Targets.
Now, that said, how on earth did these guys not amount to anything? I ask my Boston friends since they would probably know as these guys were from there (where is the book about the amazing bands to come out of Boston, anyway??).
This is barely contained chaos, white hot intensity harnessed. There is no way all the Seattle bands that would make gazillions in 5 years didn’t hear this record. If they didn’t, these guys were just there first.
And, what they’ve done is present the perfect (not-so) missing link between Husker Du and Grunge.

Holy shit, these guys have a record coming out THIS year, 26 years after their last one. Talk about timing of The Listening Post!
