This is really straight forward Rockabilly but it’s also tongue in cheek. What if The Cramps didn’t devote themselves to hard to the goth camp and, instead, were a party band ready to play your retro bar mitzvah and then nail one of your wife’s single friends?
That’s The Zantees.
This thing is, of course, riddle with covers and bedecked with originals but I defy you to tell the difference. Ultimately, it’s all part and parcel of the same thing. So, it wears out it’s welcome relatively quickly. Songs like “Big Green Car” could be great but the vocal production just kills it.
