Who was/is Jan Houston?
She is the a major voice for this hard rock outfit. I think the others sang as well but you can’t help but hear her voice cut through.
I love that there was an explosion of female led rock bands in this era and we rarely talk about them outside the girl pop of The Go-Gos and Pat Benatar and Debbie Harry.
But there were more. And Vizion made a play for “Hard Rockers of the 80s”. But, the metal heads in the parking lot probably weren’t buying what they were selling.
Too bad. It’s a solid example of rock from the era.
Someone on YouTube wrote that it’s like Tina Turner fronting Priest and that’s a pretty good assessment.
But “Inside Light” is pretty terrible.
