That’s really all I got about Steve. He sounds a lot like the artists of the 80s that wanted to BE Bowie and ride the New Wave surf. But, except for a couple tracks here and there, this is like 3rd rate Elvis Costello. If that, even.
Swindells was a member of Hawkwind and, to be honest, they litter the UK Landscape like so much musical detritus.
This isn’t bad. It’s just not something you missed if you didn’t buy it in 1980.
