Highlights:

Don’t Run Away

A Message On the Wind

I had a radio show once. Long time ago. I walked in to the local station in Lancaster, CA and said they should give me a show. Didn’t need to pay me (yet). Just give me a pop culture show on Sundays from 11-12 AM.

They did.

I called it “Critical Mass”. It was a hoot. I interviewed friends who were directors. I had giveways of CDs that had been sent to me for review for Home Theater Technology Magazine.

I spent one whole morning going through the entire text and subtextual meanings in Cerebus the Aardvark’s controversial issue 186.

Like I said. A hoot.

Like this record. It’s a punk record that mated with Cheap Trick and kind of wished it was still 1975. Weird that they close Side A with “A Message on the Wind” which is a spiritual “Hello There” and I think they should have opened the record with it. Or the Nielsen inspired “You Don’t Mean That Much to Me”. Or “Modern Man”…they really love Trick, these guys.
