Released: July 1980 The Noyes Brothers Sheep From Goats Genre: Excremental Music Rating: 1.5 out of 5 Noyes Brothers is an Australian engineering firm established in 1888 by Edward and Henry Noyes. It is also a forgettably quirky “supergroup” (lol) of Object Music celebrities Steve “Spherical Objects” Solamar and Steve “Steve Miro” Miro. [1] The album opens with a track called “Impending Doom” and closes with a track called “It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time.” Somewhere between those two tracks is one called “Sometimes”, on which Miro sings, “Sometimes it’s easy, just close your eyes, and it all goes away. But sometimes it’s not so easy. It burns. It really burns.” That is really all you need to know about this album. ********** 1. I should have looked at the cover before I took this. It says it in plain English: “100 minutes of Solamar/Miro.” Having heard albums by both, that’s 100 more minutes than I was hoping to hear from them.
