I never got the Hitchcock love. I think of his fauxetry as similar to that member of the band who isn’t a great songwriter but keeps soldiering on even when the band’s broken up and his songs are all “on the nose” with an air of self importance that isn’t deserved.
This album hasn’t changed that.
Is there anything as terrible as “Furry Green Atom Bowl”? No.
