At first I thought, hey, this is much better than Siogo. Maybe it'll be as good as Marauder. Then I realized, wait...that's a Peter Cetera cover. Huh? And, imo, starting off your album with a couple of covers is usually a bad idea. I've said that before. I think it's a weak way to kick things off and it's no help here cuz the rest of the record is so mediocre that those cover songs, while not good, are better than most of the rest.
"Summer Days" wants to be a Skynrd tune so bad it's like they are auditioning to be the opening act. But, if you want Skynrd, go listen to Skynrd. And "A Legend Never Dies" bites so hard on lesser Hagar, it's sad.
