Ok. I get it. It's like Spy vs Spy Pt.II except that it sounds even more like Paul Weller than before and I don't need another Paul Weller.
Also, come on, man, at this point, get a band. These songs sound like they are begging for one and that might actually make them better. "From a Vauxhall Velox" is SCREAMING for one.
Sometimes, as on "Island of No Return" he sounds like he's demoing songs for The Alarm.
This adherence to the dude and a guitar motif has worn thin. It's time to get a band, Billy.
