This is an album of…covers…by a band you’ve never heard of who bring nothing that interesting to the party.
It’s a fun little party record. Songs like “Whiplash” and the goofiness of the Jamboree “Babe’s in the Wood” make a Demento style treat. And “Don't Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes” and the Buddy Holly covers are great but why not just listen to the originals?
Stick with Status Quo. You’re gonna get better songs, more fun compositions and just a better time had by all.
