Hulu

The pilot from Lost In Space. Sans Dr. Smith. Brought to us by Hulu. Incidentally, I thought this would be a "clip" of the show. It's the whole damned thing. And Hulu encouraged the embed.
Go figure. Enjoy. I will post more.

It's more a than 40 year old promo piece . . . what sort of compensation should there be for such an entity?

They get eyeballs. They are advertising the sale of the DVD. It is unfortunate that this particular show is too old to qualify for residual compensation but the ater shows would.
Since the network is advertising sales of the dvd, it's just promo for now, sort of.
Here's the thing. They sell ads. If you watch it on Hulu you HAVE to watch the ads. You can't fast forward past them. So, NBC and FOX get ad revenue but the creators of the product get nothing.
It should be a percentage based on the cumulative number of eyeballs.
This is what the strike is all about.
