Is it safe to assume that, on the hierarchical chart, drummer for VU is not the go to when discussing long lasting rock influences.

I mean, Cale. Reed. Nico. I get those. But, whatever, let’s give Moe a deal and let her put out a record, too, maybe that’s the actual special sauce, especially considering just how awful some of the aforementioned recent output has been.

You know why this sounds like it was recorded in someone’s living room in 1981?

Cuz that’s where she recorded it.

This is really the year for drummers, huh? Collins, Taylor, Mason…and Tucker.

It’s all covers. She plays all the instruments.

Her version of “Heroin” is light years ahead of Lou’s, mainly cuz it sounds like someone who is about to do heroin and recorded this while contemplating it. And the ramshackle version of “Louie Louie” is how the Kingsmen always intended it to be.

Come for the rock covers, stay for the….Vivaldi? Yes, the Vivaldi.

The Daniel Johnston runs strong in Ms. Tucker. She even sounds like him. They should have put out a record together. Cuz this one is absolutely adorable.
