Listen to “Caritas”, the second track and tell me if I’m crazy but…do these guys sound a bit like INXS?

I want to be able to come up with something that accurately describes this record but all I’ve got is that there are songs on it and they are played perfectly fine and they are uninteresting but not bad and there’s a good reason this band was overlooked. 

The bouncy Southside Johnny sounding “I Never Saw the Movie” is a great example of this album. No one could touch Bruce so the heirs (Iron City Houserockers, Southside Johnny, John Cafferty) all fall short and disappear into the ether. 

There really can be just one.

Unfortunately, while the links are here, for some contractural reason, many of the tracks are blocked in the states. 

So, we can really only hear half of it.
