Before the genre totally Peters out, we get this hidden gem. Thanks to the round the clock research team at The Listening Post, we get to hear this!

I can write the same words over and over and over but the thing about that skinny tie Look Sharp style Power Pop/New Wave is that when it cooks it cooks with gas. The songs aren’t trying to change the world. They aren’t pushing the medium anywhere. They are just fecking good. 

Guthrie’s sound it Raspberries for the 80s. It’s too bad that there’s just no room for it anymore. 

There isn’t a bad track on this thing. I wish it streamed. 

I wish it was on CD.

I wish I had my old vinyl to CD burner.

I wish I had a record player to spin this.

Damn shame. 

It’s terrific.
